There are two very easy ways to recognize a good personnal trainer:

- You should make sure that the trainer is in a good shape. If he/she is able to achieve results on him/herself, he/she will be very likely to achieve results on clients. Beware of trainers in poor shape.

- You should also judge the personnal trainers by the results of their clients. If the clients achieve great results, their personnal trainer is very likely to be great as well.
